Crossroads Community Fellowship Mission Statement and Goals
Transforming and Equipping Lives Through the Love of Jesus Christ!
Crossroads Community Fellowship is a family of believers united in the love of Jesus Christ, exalting His name in the communities in which we live. We desire to win the unsaved to Christ, and provide an atmosphere for worship, spiritual growth, and fellowship to equip for service and mission.
In support of this, we are committed to the following objectives in congregational life.
- 1. Worship: (John 4:21-24)
Promoting an atmosphere of worship and praise that will minister to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and allowing spontaneous responses as the Holy Spirit motivates us during our times of assembly.
- a. Encourage creative use of individual talents during our worship services.
- b. Provide a variety of music styles.
- c. Faithful reading and teaching of God's word.
- d. Encourage faithful and honest stewardship in all of life, recognizing God’s ownership of everything.
- 2. Growth: (1st Peter 2:2 / Hebrews 6:1-3)
Promoting the importance of holiness in the life of the believer, encouraging a God consciousness and recognizing Biblical Authority in all of life.
- a. Systematic Bible study for all ages.
- b. Provide Sunday school for all ages.
- c. Build strong family relationships.
- d. Develop a vital prayer life in every believer.
- 3. Fellowship: (Hebrews 10:25 / Acts 2:42)
Promoting the importance of gathering together as members of God’s family.
- a. Encourage faithful attendance and participation in all worship services i.e. Sunday AM, Communion, Baptism, etc.
- b. Regular participation in a small group.
- c. Develop interpersonal relationships.
- d. Encourage participation in planned church activities i.e. fellowship meals, game nights, etc.
- 4. Service: (Galatians 5:13 / Ephesians 6:7 & 8)
Promoting an attitude of servanthood through caring for and sharing with one another.
- a. Find each person’s PLACE in ministry.
- b. Encourage serving as unto the Lord.
- c. Minister to the needs of the congregation.
- d. Empower each person to serve in their PLACE in ministry.
- 5. Mission: (Matthew 28:19-20)
Promoting each person to share the hope that is within them.
- a. Structure programs for community outreach.
- b. Establish prayer support group for those involved in mission.
- c. Provide training sessions for missions and encourage participation in service projects such as STAT, YES, MDS, etc.
- d. Provide Bible centered childcare and development for our communities.
